Great Escape & Splashwater - (518) 792-3500

This was a cute theme park to go to for younger kids, not as good for older kids or adults as they don't have any major roller coasters. Nice for a day trip right outside of town if you're in the area with small children.

I must admit, this is not my favorite theme park. It does not compare to the Six Flags in New Jersey. There are only about 3 roller coasters and the rest of the rides are very childish and mild. It is a great place if you do not like roller coasters, but I do so I was not impressed.

I remember this place when it was Storytown. I have many family memories here and seen it grow. They have been adding more rides. My kids love it here. It's not too crowded where the lines are too long.
