While the rooms are spacious, the price is outstanding and the rooms are dark. Housekeeping takes forever and there were dirty dishes left outside our room for 3 days. Nothing is included but the water park in the price. IF you spend more than 2 days there is not much to do. The teens in the group will get bored quickly. Not much else to do in the winter other than the water park.

Just got back from a trip to Great Escape Lodge. The rooms are larger than most, very clean, and made a two night stay with kids in the room pleasant. There were two queen beds and a pull-out couch. The indoor water park is lots of fun for all ages. My teenagers enjoyed the slides and I loved the lazy river. There is a tree house type water area for smaller kids which was always busy. There are a few eateries attached to the hotel, so you don't even have to leave for a few days if you choose. It's a great place for a quick weekend away. Not too crowded, and it was fun to be in the water in December!
